Nintendo Hotel: Mystery of the Dark Mirror

Gabe: This is Logan, reporting in.
Mars: Just read the flippin’ card.
Gabe: In the last chapter, I got news from Teresa about a paramilitary group I was tracking before my agency folded called Red Section.  So Lian and I took Bosco, Faith, Michael, Hope and Bobby to a refinery that Red Section took over on the northern island of Neveilha.  I left the rest of the members of the G.P.P.C. at the Nintendo Hotel.  When Anakin opened Jenny’s laptop, he found that Jenny’s Admin account had been hacked into and a message had been left by “ymmSEGAtib” and we never got back to that.  Now, Bosco, Faith and I are in the refinery while Lian, Michael and Hope are investigating around it.
Mars: A paramilitary group is using military weapons and tactics to fight within a country against the official ruling power.
Gabe: Straight out of the dictionary?
Mars: Yep.

Chapter 2

Gabe was running on the catwalk attached to the column that was slowing beginning to become unstable.  He started to climb up a later when suddenly, a guy on the lowest level started shooting at him and the catwalk fell. 
Gabe: The column’s becoming unstable!
Bosco: Is that the signal?
Gabe: No you idiot, the column’s becoming unstable!
Bosco: I can’t do anything about it!
Gabe: …
Bosco: Now who’s the idiot?
Gabe continued climbing and he pulled a lever that opened release valve and the flame jet came out.
Gabe: Okay, the valve’s open.
Bosco: That’s the signal?
Gabe: Yeah, it is.
Gabe saw Bosco and Faith start to go to the communication antenna-thing…I don’t know, I didn’t really get the first mission of Dark Mirror.
Gabe: Bosco, wrong way.
Bosco: Faith was leading.
Faith: How am I supposed to know which way to go?
/Meanwhile/
Mikey was on top of the snowcat, taking a good look at the area.
Mikey: This area’s clear, move on.
Lian started the snowcat and drove along.
Hope: So…what do you think about Gabe?
Lian: Huh?
Hope: I can’t help but notice you stare at Gabe when he isn’t looking.
Lian stopped the snowcat.
Lian: I don’t stare at him.
Hope: My eyes don’t lie, you do stare at him.  And actually, to me, it isn’t a secret.
Lian: What’s not a secret?
Hope: Look, you’re blushing.  Don’t worry your secret’s safe with me.
Mikey: This area’s clear.
\Meanwhile…or technically later\
Gabe was watching Bosco and Faith installing the device. 
Gabe: How’s it coming?
Faith: Pretty good, Bosco hardly shocked himself.
Gabe: Why isn’t HE talking?
Faith: I have his scanner. ^[1] Wait, I think he’s done.
Gabe: Good, send up a zip line.
Suddenly, either Bosco or Faith shot a wire up to the column, almost hitting Gabe in the head.
Gabe: Thank you.
/Meanwhile/
Mikey was on top of the snowcat, fooling around with the turret when he saw an aircraft carrier in the distance.
Mikey: Hey, stop.
Hope: You found something?
Mikey: Yeah, there’s a…
Gabe: What are you doing on this frequency?
Mikey: We were always on this frequency.
Hope: That’s right you IDIOT!
Bosco: When Hope calls you an idiot…
Lian: I wouldn’t be talking Bosco, he knows what a signal is better than you.
\One Very Long Fight Later\
Bosco: It’s because of my ‘idiocy’ you’re here today!
Bobby: Are you done?
Faith: Pretty much.
Teresa: (from radio) How much have you gotten done since you started fighting.
Gabe: (from radio) Red Jack is down, for some reason, he reminded me of Anton Girdeux. ^[2]
Bosco and Faith: You think?!
Teresa: (from radio) Bosco, Faith, how far away from Gabe are you?
Bosco: (from radio) He went underground ten minutes before we did.
Lian: He’ll be fine without you.
Teresa: (from radio) What about you Lian?
Lian: (into radio) Michael and Hope just went to check out an aircraft carrier.
Gabe: (from radio) They found some Kemsynth data drives and I told them to ground the plane.
Mikey: Uhh, Xing? Could you come and back us up? We’re pinned down on top of the plane.
Lian: I’ll be right there Michael.
/A lot later, with Gabe/
Gabe came to a locked door.  He heard voices from inside, he couldn’t really hear what they where saying but he heard someone drop the F-bomb and if this is your first Nintendo Hotel story, you’ll learn what happens when people get around the censors.  A loud groan was heard from the inside.
Gabe: Did you just have a rock hit Kreisler on the head?
Mars: How’d you know it was him?
Gabe: Lucky guess.  And I have another question.
Mars: What?
Gabe: It’s only the second chapter and we’re already on the second half of the Kemsynth mission. 
Mars: I hate this place, I just wanna get it over with.
Gabe: Does that mean there’ll be another time wipe?
Mars: Unfortunately I ran out of people to time wipe to.  Just finish the mission.
Gabe: Alright.
Gabe opened the door and entered the next room.
Red Section Guy: Hey! I thought I locked that door!
Gabe: You a really crappy job.
Gabe took out his silenced 9mm and shot the Red Section Guy.  He climbed up a latter to a platform where Kreisler was tied to a pipe unconscious. 
Gabe: Mars! You knocked out Kreisler!
Mars: Then wake him up!  Jeez, nothing’s happening anywhere else so I have to keep giving you advice…wait! Why aren’t you contacting Teresa or Bobby?!
Gabe: Hey, Teresa, Mars1040 knocked Kreisler unconscious because he said Fu…
A rock hit Gabe in the head.
Mars: And you activated your communicator.
Gabe: …I did?
Lian: Wait…Kreisler’s unconscious?!
Gabe: We aren’t allowed to say fu…
Another rock hit Gabe in the head. 
Gabe: STOP IT!!!  Mars, how do I wake him up?
Mars: Good question…you should ask for ideas.
Gabe: Alright, how do I wake an unconscious man up?
Bosco: Shake him?
Hope: I’ll have to say attacking him with a Pokemon.
\After a while\
Gabe: Alright, he’s finally coming around
Kreisler woke up.
Kreisler: What happened?  Wait, I’m free.
He put a pill in his mouth and swallowed it.  Then he laid down on the ground.
Gabe: Please don’t tell me that was a cyanide pill.
Mars: He wishes, I changed it to aspirin.
Kreisler: What!
Mars: You’re not getting out of this that easily.  Now Gabe, you gotta question him.
Gabe: What is Red Section…?
A Red Section Guy came in and shot Kreisler.
Mars: …
Gabe: …
Red Section Guy: I missed!

References: [1] In his first appearance in Nintendo Hotel, Bosco obtained a scanner for Blue Mage abilities.  A communicator was added on for convenience since both the scanner and the communicator go on the right side of his head.
[2] Anton Girdeux was a boss in the original Syphon Filter that used a flamethrower.  In Dark Mirror, Red Jack also used a flamethrower and in the briefing of the following mission, he made this remark.
